“ I went to eat at Rescoldo almost unexpectedly, due to a last-minute change of plans. The restaurant is very nice and well-appointed, overlooking the square located between Gavidia and Duque streets. The food was very good. In addition to the salpicón (a seafood salad), I had the lamb shank, which was excellent. I was told it's cooked at a low temperature, and you can tell by its texture—very tender and flavorful. Although it doesn't show well in the photo, it's a considerable size, and one person could easily finish more than a meal with just that. Even though I was full, I was eager to try the spinach with chickpeas. After mentioning this to a member of the staff (a friendly girl named Nicole), and since I couldn't eat another bite to order a tapa, they kindly brought me a small complimentary sample of the dish—exquisite! I absolutely must recommend it. Aside from that, the service was very pleasant and attentive, always speaking in a friendly and helpful tone. I hope they do well; it seems to be a new place, from what I've been told. ”
